Sacramento rapper Mozzy has made some huge moves this year, appearing on Black Panther: The Album and dropping his much-anticipated EP Spiritual Conversations. With approval from TDE, and Kendrick Lamar going so far as to give him a shout-out at the Grammys, it's safe to say he's moving up in the world. Unfortunately, as TMZ reports, he was arrested last week in Las Vegas after he was pulled over for driving without a license plate.

Las Vegas police told TMZ that he was pulled over on Thursday night (July 5) while driving a black Maserati after he failed to signal during a lane change. On top of that, when pulled over Mozzy reportedly didn't have his driver's license, leading to the cops further inspecting the vehicle. Following the search, the cops found a loaded glock.

He's currently facing a charge for gun possession by a prohibited person, and things could be looking tough for him going forward considering his history with the law. As noted by TMZ, Mozzy previously went to prison in 2014 for a gun possession and possession of a controlled substance charge. Hopefully, it's plain sailing for him following the arrest.

Mozzy was released after posting $5k bail following the arrest.
