Miami rapper Brianna Perry has her sights set on releasing EP Fortune Cookie later this year. Before that arrives, she's employed rising rapper BlocBoy JB for her single and video for "Slow Dance."
Speaking about the song, Perry told us,“'Slow Dance' is for anybody on they grind chasing their bag and have people trying to distract them and knock them off their course. Stay focused block out all negativity and get money... BlocBoy JB was perfect for the record because I love the energy he brings and I got love for Memphis. It was just a fun, lit vibe a new wave gettin' people moving and poppin' shit bout gettin money!"
After years of appearing in numerous TV shows, including Sisterhood of Hip Hop, Perry seems as if she's finally ready to make her return to music in full. The energetic, fun-as-hell video certainly plays out like a party celebrating her return, and she couldn't have picked a better rising rapper than BlocBoy for her comeback.
