Travis Scott's first headlining performance at the Ball began with his unreleased song "Stargazing," continued through a downpour of rain midway through the set, and included cameos from James Harden and Sheck Wes. Read Complex's review of the set here and watch the full performance above.

A late addition to the Governors Ball lineup after Brockhampton dropped out of the festival, Pusha-T delivered his very first full performance of DAYTONA, which stirred up chants of "Fuck Drake" during "Infrared."

Still riding high from the record-breaking commercial success of his new album, beerbongs & bentleys, Post Malone had one of the biggest crowds of Gov Ball's opening day as he performed his deep catalog of hits while wearing a pair of white Crocs.

When the lineup for this year's festival was announced, 2 Chainz wasn't happy with his placement halfway down the flyer and jokingly asked them to re-do the poster, but he came through and performed fan favorites like "No Problem" and "Proud" anyway.

Halsey

Taking the main stage before sunset on Saturday, the timing of Halsey's Gov Ball set was extra special for the singer. "This is a particularly special day for me for a couple reasons," she told the crowd, according to Billboard. "The first is that today is the one-year anniversary of my second platinum-certified album hopeless foundation kingdom. The second thing is a little bit of a story. Four years ago on this day, I signed my record deal. I had one song, and I signed a very small deal for a very little bit of money and just crossed my fingers that it would work the fuck out."

Eminem can still draw a massive crowd. Closing out the final night of Governors Ball 2018, he played a set full of hits to a sea of fans. And of course, he took the opportunity to stir up more headlines about Nicki Minaj.
