Post Malone Breaks Yet Another Billboard Chart Record With 'Beerbongs & Bentleys'

Just goes to show how important it is to master the beerbong.

With a current total of six simultaneously top 10-charting songs on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs ranking, Post Malone has broken another record.

Cardi B, J. Cole, and Drake all previously enjoyed at least one week with five top 10 R&B/Hip-Hop entries. On the May 12 chart update, Malone—armed with a selection of Beerbongs & Bentleys cuts—bested them all by one:

  • "Psycho" f/ Ty Dolla Sign - No. 2
  • "Better Now" - No. 4
  • "Rockstar" f/ 21 Savage - No. 5
  • "Paranoid" - No. 7
  • "Rich & Sad" - No. 9
  • "Spoil My Night" f/ Swae Lee - No. 10

Earlier this week, Malone landed all 18 Beerbongs cuts in the Billboard Hot 100. He also broke the chart record for the most simultaneous Top 20 Billboard Hot 100 entries, besting previous high marks by The Beatles and J. Cole.

During Beerbongs sessions, as revealed in a GQ interview back in January, Malone listened to a variety of guitar-driven music in an effort to bring club-readiness to the analog ways of the past. "So you could chill to it, you can smoke to it, but you can also go crazy to it," he said. Fleet Foxes, Nirvana, and Hank Williams Sr. were among his go-to listens at the time.

Malone recently announced two new shows at the iconic Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles for June 27 and June 28, both supported by 21 Savage. If Malone and/or his team are reading this, I would like to personally invite them to personally invite me to both shows.
