If you’re not attending at least one show on this just-announced tour, then consider our friendship over.
Early Monday, Nicki Minaj and Future announced their joint NICKIHNDRXX Tour will kick off in September. The tour keeps the perfectly matched live show duo on the road through at least the end of March. See the official tour flyer and show dates below. According to Minaj, fans can expect additional dates to be announced in the coming months.
Minaj's new album Queen is currently slated for an Aug. 10 release date. "My favorite album," Future said last month in a studio-set clip with Minaj. "This shit fuckin' amazing. The album is crazy." Thus far, Queen features—including a possible one from Future—have been kept tightly under wraps, though Minaj did reveal Ariana Grande worked with her on "Bed," and she also linked up with Lil Wayne for "Rich Sex."
Speaking on the possibility of her one day dropping a massive collab album a la Kanye and Cudi's Kids See Ghosts or Kanye and Jay's Watch the Throne last November, Minaj revealed that she and Future briefly had plans to do a joint tape. Ultimately, however, scheduling proved to be a mess. "So even when you like an artist and you respect their work, it's very hard to make those types of ideas come to fruition, but when they do come together like the Jay and Kanye [Watch the Throne project], then it's magic for sure," she told Paper magazine.
Last month, Minaj was a surprise guest during Future's headlining set at Rolling Loud. Pluto brought Minaj out to run through "MotorSport" and "Chun-Li," one of the presumed early glimpses at what Queen will give us.
