U.K. singer-songwriter Labrinth has been impressing with his gorgeous tracks for a while now, and today he's shared another exciting taste of what he's capable of. Accompanied by U.K. rapper Stefflon Don, who recently appeared on XXL's 2018 Freshman List, Labrinth shines on the solo cut "Same Team."
Stefflon Don and Labrinth prove to be a formidable duo on the new song, with Stefflon seamlessly blending into the singer's smooth sound with remarkable ease. Coming off the heels of some pretty big moves for both of them, "Same Team" is the perfect early victory lap.
Labrinth recently joined superstars Sia and Diplo to form the supergroup LSD, sharing their promising debut single "Genius" back in May. When Diplo revealed the track, he enthusiastically referred to Labrinth as a "genius," adding that the song "sounds like you think—epic, random, amazing pop music from outer space."
It's not clear when we can expect to hear more from the trio, but LSD promise a full album is on the way sooner rather than later.
