Fetty Wap is on his Bruce Wayne flow.

Throughout his career, the 26-year-old rapper has shown plenty of love and support to his home state of New Jersey. He’s hosted annual Thanksgiving turkey drives, distributed grocery store gift cards for Easter, and has even handed out cold, hard cash to school children.

His generosity and ongoing efforts to give back to the community are what inspired Fetty to name his latest mixtape Bruce Wayne. As most of you know, Wayne is the secret identity of Gotham superhero Batman—a wealthy orphan who uses his resources to protect the city that raised him. The parallels between Fetty and the Caped Crusader are further highlighted by the Bruce Wayne cover art, which shows the graves of the rapper’s grandparents Bishop Willie Lee Maxwell and James Eugene Hagans.

“My grandparents mean the world to me. I know they aren't here, but I know they would be really proud of the man that I've became and my music. I've put out so much music in this past year, so I wanted to make sure to dedicate this record to them,” Fetty told Complex. “It's 679 all the way. That's my birthday 6/7/90, so dropping it on my birthday on makes sense. I am Bruce Wayne, I've done a lot for people. It's not about bragging, but inspiring people to always give back. Squuuaaa!”

Bruce Wayne features 11 tracks and no features, giving Fetty Wap ample space to showcase what he's been working on as of late.

You can check out the new mixtape below. Bruce Wayne is set for a wider release this Thursday (June 7).
