It seems like a life time ago that D Double E announced the release of his debut album Jackuum!, and anticipation for the project is still sky high. We are, however, no further forward with getting a release date from the Newham General. Still, good things come to those who wait and all that.

In the mean time, let's satisfy ourselves with the latest drop to come from the album: "Back Then". Produced by jazz lover and producer Swindle, the collab was a heartfelt ode to grime's roots in terms of both lyrics and productions. That old school vibe has now been reinforced with the track's visuals. Labelled an "online video", the DIY visuals should take you straight back to the urgent, rough 'n' ready vibe of your favourite Channel U videos.

Take a look at the top and let's hope this album materialises sooner rather than later.
