Internet trolling is apparently genetic.
On Saturday morning, 50 Cent went to Instagram to reveal some bizarre news about his relationship with controversial rapper 6ix9ine. The G Unit boss posed a photo of himself alongside the 22-year-old artist with the caption: “Your [sic] not gonna believe this but l dated a Mexican girl back in the day. I took a blood test and just found out 69’s my son, no wonder he acts like that. get the strap.”
This claim could be true, as the rappers are both NYC natives with a 20-year age gap; however, knowing Fif and his affinity for trolling, we’re 99.9 percent sure he’s simply messing with his followers. We hesitate to declare 100 percent certainty because, well, crazier shit has happened.
As many of you know, 50 has shown a lot of love to 6ix9ine in recent months. In an Instagram video posted in March, the Get Rich or Die Tryin’ rapper seemingly crowned 6ix9ine the “King of New York,” suggesting the 22-year-old artist was running the city.
50 doubled down on his support for 6ix9ine with another Instagram post, which was captioned: “The little homies getting big as a motherf**ker. 50: l said you can’t be saying all that crazy s**t you be saying. 69: said why not you be saying it. 50: l said oh s**t you r**ht, f**k it do what you want to do. LOL NY.”
