"I'm a dangerous interview because it's hard for me to lie," Cole, around the 11-minute mark, told Martinez. "I just can't lie. Not only is it hard for me to lie, it's hard for me to not go in on the whole truth. Once I tell you something, I gotta make sure you know exactly what I'm talking about and give you the full perspective."

The conversation was recorded at Salaam Remi's studio/house in Miami, Florida just before Cole hit Rolling Loud with a headlining set. Cole discussed meditation, how he differs from other artists during interviews, and much more. Catch all 90-plus minutes of it via the video up top.

Cole recently announced that his new album KOD will be supported by an extensive tour featuring a very special guest, Young Thug a.k.a. SEX. The 34-date North American run begins in Miami in August and wraps in Boston in October.

Last month, Cole became the first artist to simultaneously debut three songs in the Billboard Hot 100's top 10. KOD cuts "Kevin's Heart," "ATM," and the title track helped Cole bag that distinction.
