Waka Flocka Flame’s third studio album Flockaveli 2 has seen its fair share of delays. Initially scheduled to be released on Oct. 5, 2013, the album was pushed back several times throughout 2014. It was then set to drop on June 1, 2015— the birthday of his late brother Kayo Redd—but the date came and went, as Waka blamed Atlantic Records for holding the record back.

Fast forward three years later, and we have still yet to see Flockaveli 2, his follow up to 2010’s Flockaveli and 2012’s Triple F Life: Fans, Friends & Family. Now, however, the album seems poised for release in 2018: On Monday, Waka took to Instagram to announce that Flockaveli 2 will be released on Oct. 5, and shared the purported artwork for the album.

The day before the announcement, he had posted the album artwork for Flockaveli, with a message for his fans. “#FLOCKAVELI The reason hiphop sound like it is today,” he wrote. “This the album that opened the door for all the young ni**as!!!! Watching this generation let me know I did my part Blood Sweat & Bloody Tears 🐺... 11 years in with a label and a beautiful wife and daughter ♥️ #RapGod #StreetLegend ..... A REAL GROWN ASS MAN 👌 business!!! Long Live My YoungN Slim Fucking Dunkin Squaddd.”

In a recent interview with XXL, Waka shared the list of producers he’s working with for Flockaveli 2, such as Luney G, Supah Mario, Lex Luger, Zaytoven, Southside, DY, and Cicero. While he didn’t share who will feature on the album, in 2015, he tweeted that some of the guests would include Kanye West, Jay Z, Drake, Lil Wayne, and 50 Cent, but those ended up being rumors.
