Cardi B Calls Off Tour Dates Due to Pregnancy: 'A B*tch Barely Can Breathe'

Cardi will return to the road in September with Bruno Mars.

Fair warning: The following news will likely come as a full-blown bummer to anyone who had plans to catch Cardi B this summer.

Late Wednesday, Cardi hit Instagram to inform fans that her upcoming Broccoli City Festival performance in Washington D.C. (this weekend) will be her last show until she joins Bruno Mars on the road in September. "So I just wanna make this a little clearer and everything, Broccoli Fest will be my last performance for a little while and everything because, you know, shorty keep growing and it's like, I be looking like I'm moving and everything, but in reality a bitch barely can breathe," Cardi said. "I wanna thank y'all for understanding. I'll be back for the Bruno Mars tour and everything and thank y'all so much. I just wanna let y'all know that . . . Thank you very much. I fuckin' love y'all motherfuckers."

In a subsequent tweet, Cardi said she would spend some of her time off the road working on features:

Okay so i might be off from doing performances for a couple of months but in the meantime imma be working my ass off .So many songs, features to do .Working on a lot of deals i sign up for and most importantly nesting .I️m already overwhelmed from the new work😩

This means previously scheduled dates in Houston, Miami, New York, Dublin, Kristiansand, and more have been canceled. Here's a list of all affected dates. The Cardi x Bruno experience kicks off Sept. 7 at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado and runs through the end of October. Tickets info can be found here.

According to some words the perpetual snoops over at TMZ cobbled together back in March, Cardi and Offset's first child together is due the first week of July. In the meantime, just keep revisiting Cardi's top-shelf Coachella sets and her excellent debut album Invasion of Privacy.
