Spring has officially sprung, and while it may still feel like a tundra up in the Northeast, the birds and the bees are definitely buzzing for Tinashe and Ben Simmons. The rumored couple decided to make things IG official with matching posts on Wednesday night.
“This is a dime I can’t pass,” Simmons captioned a photo of the R&B singer holding onto his side in a super cute, new couple kind of way.
It’s unclear how long the artist and 76ers rookie have been dating, but a couple weeks ago Tinashe told TMZ that Simmons was her “little boo thang.” A few days before that, Simmons slid into the singer’s IG comments after she posted a seductive photo of herself with the caption “where’s bae?” Simmons commented “Charlotte,” which at first looked like he was trying to shoot his shot, but now appears to be just a matter-of-fact response, especially after she responded with a little heart eyes emoji.
Last month, Tinashe she went on Boom 103.9 FM in Philadelphia for an interview and blushed when she talked about Simmons, but dodged any questions about them dating. She did, however, admit that she might be at the 76ers game courtside in Philadelphia on Valentine’s Day. Watch her talk about Simmons at the 5:50-minute mark below.
The hesitation that previously kept Tinashe from speaking publicly about their relationship appears to be long gone now, because it doesn't get any more official than matching IG posts (except, maybe Jhené Aiko's tattoo of Big Sean).
