Royce da 5'9" and DJ Premier dropped their latest collab project PRhyme 2 last week. The album is the duo's first since their self-titled 2014 debut and is reliably stacked with guest features from Dave East, Rapsody, Big K.R.I.T., Yelawolf, Cee-Lo Green, and 2 Chainz. Tuesday, Chainz joined PRhyme and the Roots for a live take on current single "Flirt" on the Tonight Show.

We first heard "Flirt" at the top of the month, shortly after PRhyme shared the memorable visuals for the Dave East-featuring "Era." Hopefully, we'll be getting a similarly memorable "Flirt" visual soon. I suggest tapping Spike Jonze for the job.

Royce and Premier sat down with Complex back in February, chopping it up about everything from PRhyme 2 to Joaquin Phoenix's Gang Starr fandom. "I was in L.A. for the Golden Globe Awards," Premier said. "Everybody's in town. I hung out with Joaquin Phoenix, the actor. He wanted to meet me through another actor friend of mine. He wanted to meet in this dark hotel. He hates attention. He's shy to be around people. When he saw me, he was like, 'I got so many questions I want to ask you, but I don't want to bother you.' I said, 'Dude, go ahead.'"

Phoenix then proceeded to take a deep-dive on tracks list "Aiiight Chill" and "Brainstorm," a move that impressed Premier. "Those types of people I like to talk to because you really know my stuff, and it's more fun," he said.

We should also expect a new solo project from Royce later this year, as well as a 20th anniversary throwdown for Gang Starr's Moment of Truth. But for now, it's PRhyme season.
