Lil Pump doesn’t seem too concerned about his recent gun charges.

The 17-year-old rapper appeared to be in high spirits Thursday afternoon as he was spotted leaving Sylmar Juvenile Court in Los Angeles. Though he didn’t reveal any significant details about the case, he told TMZthat he was confident in his legal team.

“Hey, man, we got rich lawyers. Real lawyers. The best lawyers in the planet,” he said.

When Pump was questioned about the circumstances that led to his arrest, he quickly changed the subject to his newly acquired ankle monitor.

“Listen, hold up. See my ankle?” he asked the cameraman. “House arrest, house arrest, house arrest, house arrest. Pop two Xans and I passed test! Gucci Gang tat on the fucking chest!”

A simple “no comment” would’ve sufficed.

Pump, real name Gazzy Garcia, was taken into custody after he allegedly fired a gun inside his California home. His manager reportedly told authorities three men were attempting to break inside Pump’s apartment, and that the bullet hole in the front door actually came from the outside. Police didn’t buy it, as they quickly determined that the shot had actually been fired from inside the residence.

Shortly after they left the scene, authorities returned with a search warrant. The New York Daily News reports officers ended up seizing marijuana as well as a .38 Glock that was discovered in some bushes outside of Pump’s apartment. Officers were convinced the teen had lied about the attempted burglary and had fired the gun himself. He was then taken to juvenile hall and eventually released on house arrest.

Pump was alone in the house at the time of the shooting, as his mother was said to be out of town. According to the New York Daily News, authorities may investigate the rapper’s mother for endangering a minor and having an unsecured gun at home.
