Regardless of your opinions on Taylor Swift, you have to admit she goes above and beyond for her diehard fans.
Earlier this week, a woman named Stephanie Waw shared a nice little story on The Swift Life app, in which she described the singerâs generous donation that changed her life. Waw said she was eight months pregnant and homeless when she was invited to speak to Swift backstage at a concert in Manchester, England. After she told the singer about her recent hardships, Swift decided she had to help. Not only did she offer to refund Wawâs concert ticket, she also promised to help the mother-to-be purchase a new home.
âLong story short our first flat was condemned for health and safety reasons and we lost everything. To add to the stress, during this time Matthew [her boyfriend] lost his job,â she wrote on the app. âMy mum told Taylor and just asked her to make me feel special at her show I was attending in Manchester. After the show, Taylor took us back to her dressing room where she told me, âStephanie, You've been in my life for a long time and you've never asked me for anything. You could have reached out and I would have helped you. But you didn't.ââ
She continued: â[Taylor] told me she wanted to give me the money back for my ticket that night. What she actually did was help us buy a home and all I needed for my baby. She told me âI want you to be able to enjoy your little girl, not have to worry about all this stuff.â That night she gave me her hand and lifted me off the ground. The same way sheâs done for 12 years. I love her forever.â
Swift has acquired a reputation for giving back to her fans. Sheâs visited many of them in hospitals, has contributed thousands of dollars to a fanâs cancer treatments, and has also help pay off a fanâs student loan debt.
She can be pretty cool. Now if she could only denounce her white supremacist followingâŠÂ
