In the latest indication that all that's old is new again, ASAP Ferg and DJ Premier have teamed up for a new song, to celebrate the return of an old, much-loved record label.

"Our Streets" is the brand-new collab between the Hood Pope and the iconic producer, and it sounds as great as you would expect. Ferg fits right in over Primo's iconic sound and scratched hooks, and even fits in shout-outs to Premier's former group Gang Starr and its late vocalist Guru at the end of the track. The song premiered on Apple Music's Beats 1.

The song is the first release by a revamped version of the iconic record label Payday. The label was originally started back in 1992 by Patrick Moxey (who also, not coincidentally, managed Gang Starr). During its heyday, the company put out important music by artists like Yasiin Bey (via his early group UTD), Gang Starr affiliates Group Home and Big Shug, Jeru the Damaja, O.C., Showbiz & A.G., and WC and the Maad Circle. The label also gave a start to the career of none other than Jay Z, releasing Hov's pre-Reasonable Doubt single "In My Lifetime."

The re-launched Payday has five new signees: Pell, OJ Da Juiceman, Yung Fume, Gloss Gang, and Premier.

"Hip-hop has become a Global language and the new Payday is here to reflect that and help bring diverse and  talented artists to the world" Moxey said in a statement. "Our initial signings are from four different cities—New York, Atlanta, New Orleans, and London—and it reflects today's relationship of music and the internet. We want to push hip-hop's creative boundaries across borders and cultures. Our recording studios in LA, London, and Atlanta will be promoting this creative exchange. DJ Premier represents the essence of hip-hop and everything that Payday stands for—I am so excited to have him be a part of the relaunch."
