While Hurricane Harvey was still active, and pelting Houston plus the surrounding area with trillions of gallons of water, rapper Trae Tha Truth rescued dozens of stranded residents by boat, including Orlando Magic forward Jonathon Simmons.

Now the storm is over, and though the skies are no longer leading an all-out assault on the Southeastern Texas metropolis, there's still a practically unfathomable amount of recovery work to be done. On Saturday, in the aftermath of the hurricane, Trae, as well as fellow Houston product Chamillionaire, delivered food, water, and other supplies to inmates at Jefferson County Prison, which lies just east of H-Town.

Trae posted a picture of himself with staff, inmates, and Chamillionaire, to his IG page with the caption "I Got A Call Sayin Inmates Locked Up Didn't Have Water Or Food.... We Pulled Up To The Jail Wit Food & Water.... All Luv... Today Was A Blessing":

He also posted this footage, with the caption "Blessed To Feed Tha Jail Today...Everyone Needs Support In These Times... Salute To All Tha Inmates In Jefferson County Jail.....Love":
