NXNE is fast-approaching, and the festival just made a surprise announcement: Kaytranada has been added to the lineup for the Port Lands Festival on Saturday May 24. Unfortunately Tyler, The Creator is no longer able to perform, so the Polaris and Prism Prize-winning producer and DJ will grace the stage instead, joining Passion Pit, Post Malone, Tinie Tempah and others when Port Lands goes down June 23 to 25.

Kaytranada has had quite the year since releasing his debut album 99.9% in May of 2016. The album garnered widespread critical acclaim, with the video for "Lite Spots" earning the Haitian-born Montrealer a Much Music Video Award nomination and a Prism Prize.

This is the second time this month that Tyler, The Creator has canceled a gig. He recently canceled his European tour, announcing via a tweet: "no more europe tour, sorry, next time."

You can peep the rest of the Port Lands lineup here, and purchase weekend or day passes from the NXNE website.
