Ariana Grande's Dangerous Woman Tour has been suspended following the Manchester Arena bombing, which left 22 people dead Monday. A rep for Grande confirmed multiple canceled performances in a statement to Entertainment Weekly Wednesday.

"Due to the tragic events in Manchester, the Dangerous Woman Tour with Ariana Grande has been suspended until we can further assess the situation and pay our proper respects to those lost," a Grande rep said. "The London O2 shows this week have been canceled as well as all shows through June 5 in Switzerland."

Grande's rep added that, at this time, we should "all continue to support the city of Manchester and all those families affected by this cowardice and senseless act of violence."

The bombing occurred Monday night following Grande's performance at Manchester Arena. The suspect was later identified as 22-year-old Salman Abedi.

In a statement Thursday, Greater Manchester Police Chief Constable Ian Hopkins provided an update on the ongoing investigation. "We currently have eight people who have been arrested in connection with Monday's attack," Hopkins said. "They are all men. A woman who was arrested yesterday has since been released. The arrests have taken place in Manchester, Wigan and Nuneaton. We are now carrying out associated searches at a number of addresses."

The searches, Hopkins explained, will take a few days to complete and will likely face interruptions. "However, it is important that we continue with these searches," he said.
