After announcing and already-stacked lineup last month, Canadian Music Week has a few more surprises in store. The festival announced a few days ago that Big Sean has been added as one of the headliners for the almost-week long event which takes place from April 18 to 23.
Big Sean recently dropped his fourth studio album, I Decided, to positive reviews and a number one spot on the charts. The Detroit native is showing Canada's largest city a lot of love this year: he hosted an I Decided pop up shop in the city in early February, and will actually be in the city in early April for an official tour stop.
Other exciting additions to the lineup include JUNO and Polaris Prize winning Inuk throat singer Tanya Tagaq and Filipino-Canadian rapper Han Han. CMW also announced that it has added a second A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie show for all ages. To stay up to date on all the CMW happenings, visit its website.
