Stream T.I.'s Politically Charged 'Us or Else' EP

T.I. drops his new EP 'Us or Else.'

T.I. turned to Tidal Thursday night to drop his new EP Us or Else. The politically charged project features the previously released singles "We Will Not" and "War Zone." The EP follows a similar path as its lead singles, with T.I. expressing his frustrations with America's political climate. He recorded the songs in the wake of a number of deaths of unarmed black men at the hands of police officers. Killer Mike and Meek Mill also register appearances, lending their voices to the cause after speaking outrecently themselves

Us or Else follows a pattern of T.I. becoming more involved in political causes recently. He's been an outspoken opponent of Donald Trump, even rapping "Fuck Trump all day" on his single "Dope" f/ Marsha Ambrosius. He later spoke out in support of Colin Kaepernick following the controversy surrounding the quarterback's ongoing protest during the national anthem. Then came the video for "War Zone," which flipped the script on racial dynamics in America by showing a white family becoming the victims of police violence. It goes on to reenact the deaths of Eric Garner and Philando Castile, showing the unfolding tragedy in graphic detail.
