This week, The Notorious B.I.G.’s 19th anniversary of his death fell on Mar. 9, sending a wave of tributes and shout outs of the Brooklyn legend on social media. DJ Khaled is paying homage to the hip-hop icon with a rare three-hour mix on We the Best Radio, including an interview with special guest Puff Daddy.

Puff, like the rest of the world, misses Biggie. It’s evident in his Instagram posts two days ago, as he shared vintage videos of Biggie dropping knowledge in interviews and never before seen footage of him recording “Hypnotize.” Khaled promises he’s doing it for BIG, so listeners can get excited for some familiar cuts from his catalogue and deep freestyles.

During their interview, Khaled and Puff discuss everything from the definition of a producer to when he first met Biggie. Puff also revealed some exclusive details on a Bad Boy reunion tour. While he hasn't confirmed an exact date yet (he plans on making another announcement next week), the first date will be around B.I.G.'s birthday (May 21) in Brooklyn at the Barclays Center. "It's the family reunion tour a.k.a the two-step tour," he says. He promises to perform records he hasn't done in a while and special guests.

Later, Puff breaks down the making of "Flava in Your Ear" remix, why he likes Kendrick Lamar, his final album No Way Out 2 and much more. Puff also sprinkled in more about the Bad Boy reunion tour when Ty Dolla $ign made a surprise appearance. In this portion, he says every city will have their own type of show/guests similar to what Taylor Swift did on the 1989 tour. He says Ty Dolla $ign will be there to perform "You Could Be My Lover," which they confirmed a video has already been done. Finally, you can expect dates to be unveiled in May.

As far as No Way Out 2, Diddy is looking to younger talent for new melodies, songs and emotion to help sonically shape the project. He's planning to launch a worldwide "Got Beats" campaign with more information soon on his personal website (Diddy.com or PuffDaddyandtheFamily.com). Lastly, he says he got a verse from Kanye West during those The Life of Pablo sessions, but he wants a "better one." It sounds like Diddy is going big for his last album.

If hearing Biggie over Metro Boomin beats wasn’t enough to satisfy your fix, Khaled's got you with some vibes for your Friday. Stream We the Best Radio here, and look for Khaled and Puffy's interview to debut on Revolt TV.
