20-year-old Brooklyn-born, Connecticut-based producer Gaffe Of A Lifetime's "Forgotten" sits somewhere between melancholic soul and warm ambient electronica. While that may sound like he's in danger of letting things get too airy, he maintains a simple, relaxed beat before bringing in slightly harsher tones to balance the mix. Though the influences are subtle, you can almost hear pieces of acid house and dub flit through "Forgotten" (our Mar. 23), but only on the most subconscious of levels, resulting in an experimental take on club music peppered with moments of subdued euphoria and late-night melancholy. Take a listen exclusively below.
