Lupe Fiasco is planning to release three albums—Drogas, Skulls and Royin 2016. After those come out, Lupe might be considering an early retirement, taking to Twitter earlier today to announce Roy will be his final album.

"Roy" will be my last album. LUPend

If the 33-year-old rapper sticks to his word, the Chicago rapper would be wrapping up an illustrious career that included fan favorites like Food & Liquor, The Cool, and Tetsuo & Youth.

This also isn’t the first time Lupe talked about retiring someday. In 2008 and in 2012, he stated reasons of fatigue and possibly changing a career path after releasing Food & Liquor II. He thought about going into literature at the time.

Does this mean The Cool 2 won’t be coming out in 2017? Let's hope he reconsiders.
