While he's currently promoting today's release of Southpaw, the new Jake Gyllenhal-starring boxing movie in which he also features, 50 Cent has been ordered to pay out an additional $2 million in punitive damages to the victim of a sex-tape leak he committed back in 2009. According to the NYDailyNews, a jury in Manhattan came to the decision as a compromise between the victim's requested $15 million and 50 Cent's lawyer's suggested $700,000. "We had to compromise," the jury foreman said. "Some wanted [to award] more, some wanted less."

Lastonia Leviston, the victim of the leak and mother of Rick Ross' child, spoke happily about the decision. "I've been served justice by the courts and vindicated by God," she said, and added of 50 Cent, "I hope he learned a lesson."

The jury's decision came shortly after 50 Cent filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy mid-trial after receiving an order to pay Leviston an initial $5 million for a violation of civil rights and emotional distress. The rapper's bankruptcy filing stalled the final verdict until the trial was ordered to pick back up last week.
