Rich Homie Quan was the featured guest on The Breakfast Club this morning, and with all of his recent headlines, they had plenty to talk about. Right off the bat, Quan addressed his recent lyrics that described raping a woman in a leaked song, and backed up what he said in his official apology that was released after the leak. Quan said that he just wants to make good music and that the song wasn't intended to leave the studio, but was leaked with about 100 other songs made by him and Young Thug.
On the topic of Thug, Quan said that even though he's not really affiliated with Rich Gang anymore, he doesn't see that period of his career as a mistake. "Everything is a learning experience. I learned a lot from them, ya feel me," Quan said. As far as his current label situation goes, Quan confirmed that he is indeed still independent, and while Def Jam tried to sign him at one point, he never went through with it.
