Young Toronto soul singer Daniel Caesar revisits his Praise Break project today for his new EP, Acoustic Break, where he presents acoustic alternatives for two of his older songs, plus a new track. The transformation of the songs is incredible, as Caesar gets to show off a more sensitive side of his artistry where he completely strips down his music to a simpler, more pure format that is focused more on his tremendous vocals.
The acoustic EP was recorded in Toronto, with the help of his small band of Ian Culley on guitar, Matthew Burnett playing piano, and Brandon Horniachek on the drums. Caesar's Praise Break can be revisited here, while the new EP can be streamed below.
