Dusk + Blackdown's Keysound Recordings have long been associated with the outer limits of grime and bass music, playing host to their most progressive names such as Murlo and E.M.M.A so it should be the perfect home for ambient sort-of-grime producer/vocalist, Luke Benjamin, and his emotional ode to India. The atmosphere of this beat-less, ambient number is a subdued one that borders on the melancholic. Despite the minor keys and the heartbreaking synth patterns however, there is a glimmer of optimism in all this, some hope for the human race, particularly with lines like "if you do something good, you will reap the benefit." Listen to "Asha" below, and catch it on Keysound Recordings' Certified Connections compilation on November 24.
