During his show in Montreal at the Bell Centre yesterday, Kanye West took a slight detour from his usual rant of the night and instead delivered a 22-minute speech that touched on a number of topics. West talked about his legacy in music, stating, "The sound of music for the past 10 years; I created that" to crowd approval. He also described his tour as a 10-year family reunion with his fans, and recited lyrics from "We Don't Care" and "Good Morning" with them.
The majority of his speech was about quality of life, and how he wants to play an important role in shaping the future. "I want to contribute more to society," he said. "I wanna make life easier." Later, Kanye West talked about being excited for what he has in store with adidas, and also compared himself to Walt Disney and Steve Jobs. Watch the full clip above.
