Just last night I was talking about how much the footwork scene has meant to me in 2013. From the guys making the music to the way they incorporate so much of everything I love about music into their cipher... they just have me mapped out perfectly. We don't hear much from Rashad and Gant-Man in terms of collaborative output, so to see these two pillars of the Chicago footwork scene linking up to put a footwork spin on Future's "Honest" makes us smile on a number of levels. Even if its listed as a snippet, and barely hits two-and-a-half minutes, this one has to be taken in. Whether you're getting your mind right or stunting in the mirror before hitting the town tonight, just be honest. Be honest with yourself, what you're doing, and most importantly, how fierce this sound is.
