Now this is an ill collabo. Yasiin Bey, formerly known as Mos Def, hit the studio recently with producer Mannie Fresh. In these behind the scenes videos, we see Mannie playing an assortment of beats for Yasiin, who then starts rhyming over one he's feeling with lines like, "Youngin' you could hug the block but it don't hug back/If it do it'll squeeze 'til your spine goes snap."

Yasiin then throws the headphones on to record vocals for their song "OMFGOD," which is due out soon. The clips also show Mannie laying his vocals down, and hopping behind the drum set. Watch part one above, and part two below, which starts with a throwback interview clip from 2007 of Yasiin saying he wants to work with Mannie. It's beautiful when a collaboration like this actually ends up happening.

Stay tuned for the official recording of "OMFGOD."
