Fresh off the release of his seventh studio album Dope Don’t Sell Itself, 2 Chainz returns with the music video for the Lil Baby-featuring “Kingpen Ghostwriter.”

The Buddah Bless-produced track is the latest Dope Don’t Sell Itself cut to get the music video treatment, following “Free B.G.,” “Neighbors Know My Name,” “Million Dollars Worth of Game,” and “Pop Music.”

“Kingpen Ghostwriter” marks the third collaboration between the Atlanta rappers, who previously joined forces on “Anyway,” a track from Lil Baby’s 2018 Street Gossip album, as well as on Juicy J’s 2020 single “Spend It.”

“Kingpen Ghostwriter” sees Lil Baby continue his recent run of showstopping guest verses. In just the last six months, the 27-year-old rapper has delivered features for everyone from Drake (“Girls Want Girls”) and Kanye (“Hurricane”) to Gunna (“25k Jacket”) and Roddy Ricch (“Moved to Miami”).

Most recently, Baby hcontinued his momentum by teaming up with Nicki Minaj for a pair of joint singles, “Do We Have A Problem?” and “Bussin.” Released last month, the former peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100, while the latter climbed to No. 20. Meanwhile, both songs reached the top 5 of Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, with “Do We Have A Problem?” peaking at No. 1.
