People on Twitter had a lot to say when a video of a man working out in Ugg boots went viral, but the lifter’s unique choice in footwear ended up overshadowing another very awkward moment caught on camera.
The video, uploaded to TikTok, features a man donning the pair of aforementioned Ugg Boots as he gets ready to do a bench workout with a dumbbell. As he sets himself up, another woman gearing up to do a round of squats wanders over to the man’s bench and performs a squat right on his face, sitting on him and causing the man to drop his dumbbell. The woman then awkwardly lumbers away before the video ends.
“She was off in a hurry….” the caption reads. The video was uploaded to TikTok by @samuelstratis, and aside from being viewed over 10 million times on the platform, it also caused an uproar on Twitter.
“I know it smells crazy in those uggs,” one user wrote, while another said, “maybe she sat on his face as a warning to all the other dudes going to the gym in uggs.”
However, other users were quick to question whether the wild antics caught on camera were genuine or staged. “Why wouldn’t you take a glance behind you at the bench to make sure there’s no one on it before you squat though,” one TikTok user questioned in the comments.
