A Florida man decided to jog naked through busy traffic in Miami, and things didn't end up going his way.
For starters, he was struck by a car. For another thing, it was caught on video that is now being published by TMZ.
After the man was struck by the car, he "pops right back up and keeps trotting," TMZ noted. However, Miami police told the entertainment site that the man has been given help.
"The unidentified man was placed under Florida's Baker Act, an involuntary temporary mental health hold," TMZ wrote.
The video, published by TMZ, shows that the man took a pretty hard hit. He ran across the street as busy traffic was flying through the intersection. After being struck, he lay on the ground for a brief time before getting up and jogging away. Needless to say, it could have ended up a lot worse.
This isn't the first time a naked Florida man has made the news. In October, a different naked man was accused of having "terrorized a neighborhood in a late-night rampage, breaking into multiple homes and destroying property," according to The New York Post.
In July, yet another naked Florida man was accused of hiding in a tanning bed after allegedly causing damage to a Planet Fitness gym.
It's not only Florida, of course. In 2024, a man caused a car crash after being accused of running around a Winn-Dixie parking lot naked in Louisiana.
More recently in Louisiana, yet another man was discovered naked while driving a car. He was arrested after being accused of leading police on "a pursuit on Interstate 49."
It doesn't just happen in warm climes, either. In March, a naked man" began walking in and out of traffic after a crash" along a New Hampshire highway, according to Boston 25 News.
