Supporters at a Donald Trump rally in Tampa, Florida kicked at the wheelchair of a young boy with cerebral palsy Saturday, and the boy was subsequently escorted out of the rally. The Washington Post reports that J.J. Holmes went to the rally with his mother, Alison, to protest Trump, and the two were reportedly kicked out while a group of Trump supporters chanted "USA!" and Trump repeated "Get them out."
According to the Washington Post, Holmes wanted to protest Trump's mocking of disabled people. Alison told the Washington Post, "We were put out by security." She added, "Mr. Trump kept saying, 'Get them out.'" Holmes was kicked out of the Trump rally for protesting, then went to see president Obama speak in Kissimmee, Florida, where he met the president.
At Obama's Kissimmee Clinton rally, a crowd booed a Trump supporter who was there to protest, but Obama quieted the crowd, even defending the protester's right to free speech.
