A TTC bus driver has been fired for taunting intoxicated females and not offering them assistance, said the transit agency.

Last Sunday, a video surfaced of the two female passengers, ages unknown, on a TTC surface route.

In the video, one of the females is at the back on the bus lying on the floor while the other is on a seat beside her appearing unsteady.

This leaked footage of a TTC operator filming intoxicated teens on the job is disturbing.

“This is shit I deal with sometimes,” the driver is heard saying as he films the intoxicated females.

“You are fucking fried,” he says to the passengers.

“Look at that one, oh jeez,” he adds. “Well I am out of service for the day. I’m gonna enjoy this, I’m gonna run it in, and I am out of service.”

It isn’t clear what the girls were intoxicated by and the route the incident occurred on was not revealed.

“On Sunday evening, we became aware of a deeply disturbing video showing two customers in distress that appeared to have been filmed by a TTC employee,” spokesman Stuart Green said. “We immediately launched an internal investigation and identified the person responsible. That person had their employment terminated.

“This regrettable incident was an indefensible violation of the TTC’s code of conduct and is in no way representative of the service excellence our employees display on a daily basis,” Green said.

The bus driver’s actions in the video have been ridiculed on social media.

“Really super weird thing to do at your job and then show everyone,” tweeted one person. “Dude seemed really excited about not helping these people out.”

He’s a staff not a daily commuter so he should be calling 911 not grabbing his cellphone and recording. Also considering their teens this is very inappropriate for him to be sharing this video.
