Google could be facing some stiff competition from Disney if it's planning to buy the service that keeps on giving: Twitter. According to a Bloomberg report Disney is considering a bid on Twitter. And why wouldn't someone want to get their hands on a platform that lets users roast Jared Leto Joker costumes and prepare for the first presidential debate between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton with equal opportunity?

Sources said that Disney, which owns ABC and ESPN, has hired a financial adviser as it considers buying up Twitter. Along with Disney and Google, Salesforce.com has been reportedly interested in a Twitter sale. As a result of Salesforce.com's reported interest, Twitter’s stock rose 21 percent Friday.

Citing sources, CNBC reported Monday the Twitter sale could happen in as soon as 30 to 45 days.

Disney CEO Bob Iger said in an investor conference that Twitter "did a very good job" of livestreaming its first ever NFL game, reportedDeadline. The game was broadcast on the social media service as part of Twitter's $10 million Thursday Night Football broadcast deal. The broadcast was made possible by BAMTech, a streaming service Disney recently bought a third of. Besides the NFL, Twitter will be livestreaming presidential debates like its competitor Facebook.

Disney and Twitter already have a link in Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, who's on the Disney board.
