Two men from Houston, Texas narrowly avoided injury when their podcast was interrupted by a car that crashed into the cafe they were recording in.

As reported by KTRK, Nathan Reeves and Alexsey Reyes met to record an episode of a podcast at the Tout Suite cafe when they captured the moment an SUV swerved into the building. "We were just talking to the camera, and the car smashes into our backs. I go into instant shock. I'm not sure what's going on," said Reyes, who was a guest on Reeves' podcast, November Romeo. "It was kind of fight or flight, and I flew, I got out of there," added Reeves, who has been friends with Reyes for around a year.

The two were left with only minor injuries, despite the car almost crashing directly into them at the table they were recording at. Clearly shaken by the moment, the two just quietly moved out of their chairs and later appeared back on camera to confirm they’re okay.

"I was freaking out, I turned to everyone in the café, and I'm like, 'I got that all on film'. Everyone got a front-row seat, there was no one at the table with us, and they all saw what happened," Reeves said. "We're content creators and artists, so we will not stop. There will be more. Hopefully, no more car crashes, just content."

Per The Associated Press, police confirmed that a woman driving the SUV with two passengers ran a red light when she struck another vehicle. She then veered into the cafe, which had approximately 12 people inside at the time of the crash.
