Griselda Records is gearing up to release a collection of high-end jeans.

Westside Gunn announced the news on social media Wednesday, confirming he and his team have connected with Purple Brand on a batch of eye-catching denim he had previously teased.

“Ppl keeeeep asking me… the answer is YES!!!!! GXFR x @purple_brand is a official,” he wrote. “t’s a pleasure to be working with my favorite denim brand [...] these jeans are so 🔥🔥 honestly the illest jeans out [...] since I dropped that pic everybody u can think of been asking for a pair 🤲🏽🤲🏽 it’s krazy bc they look even better in person.. the details are beautiful pure ART pieces.”

The post included several shots of the denim designs in various washes. Two of the distressed pieces featured the GXFR logo splashed across the front with embroidered scorpions on both sides of the legs. The faded black pair offers a slightly more subtle look, as it ditches the “GXFR” front graphic and is adorned with tonal embroidered scorpions.

Westside Gunn didn’t provide any details on how much the pieces will cost, but said the collection will have a soft launch on May 29 at Buffalo Kids Gallery—his retail store located at 1 Walden Galleria, Buffalo, New York.

Following the release of his Pray for Paris project, Westside Gunn spoke to Complex about his personal style and long-time interest in clothing.

“I don’t do the stylist thing. I’ve been fly my whole life,” he said. “A lot of people start getting fly once they get record deals and can start affording to buy it. But honestly, I’ve been wearing designer for the last 20 years ago. Like that’s what I do. Even when people wasn’t even wearing designer, I was wearing designer. I had Versace glasses, Gucci, Iceberg, and all that in ’98.”
