With the release of the upcoming 240-page hardcover bookThe Fendi Set: From Bloomsbury to Borghese, Kim Jones is sending out a “love letter” to the Bloomsbury Group and the history of the Italian luxury house.

As previously teased in January surrounding Bloomsbury-associated writer Virginia Woolf’s birthday, the book features text from Jones and photos by Nikolai von Bismarck. The Rizzoli New York release is divided into three sections, with the first including a look at some of the inspiration behind Woolf’s Orlando. The second section, meanwhile, takes readers to Paris, while the third and final section focuses on Bloomsbury activities in Rome.

The preface was penned by Oscar-winning actress Tilda Swinton, who starred in Sally Potter’s 2002 film adaptation of Orlando. Bloomsbury-focused scholar Dr. Mark Hussey has also contributed to Jones and von Bismarck’s book.

Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss, meanwhile, are among the Jones collaborators who appear in book-featured photos.

“Fendi is of course a family and a dynasty,” Jones said of the book, which simultaneously gives readers the origins of the two extended artistic families behind Bloomsbury and Fendi, respectively. “It is a family of creative collaborators, with both Silvia Venturini Fendi and her daughter Delfina Delettrez Fendi working closely within the house. It is important when you work somewhere to understand the artistic heritage.”
