These Coco and Breezy Shades Are a Tribute to Their Father’s Love for Jack Daniel’s

Coco and Breezy are remixing the vibe and design behind these too-cool-for-school shades named and created in honor of their father, Cornell.

Creators thrive off inspiration, and Jack Daniel’s celebrates the passion of creators. For the past year, the brand’s Classic Remix program has engaged with the work of budding designers, giving them the opportunity to take a classic item and remix it using design cues drawn from the Jack Daniel’s brand. For the 2022 Classic Remix program, Jack Daniel’s invited sisters and design duo Coco and Breezy, the founders of Coco and Breezy Eyewear, to work as lead designers for the program and remix their Cornell frames, which are named after their father.

The Memphis-raised entrepreneurs were inspired by Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple to create a pair of sunglasses that mimicked the brand’s packaging, right down to lenses that match the warm amber color of the spirit. Using the CB Cornell frames, these two created a set of limited-edition sunglasses that also feature green temple tips, the same color of the Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Apple label. Even better, Jack Daniel’s has pledged to match 100% of sales from purchased Classic Remix pieces to create fashion grants and award them to emerging fashion designers.

In this video, you can watch how Coco and Breezy made these custom glasses to honor their father and his love of whiskey and Tennessee.
