Upscale Vandal has been enlisted by Puma for its new project centered on global motorsport culture.
"This project means more to me than 95% of the projects I've worked on because I didn't do it for the advancement of a brand or my company, I did it to push an entire community forward that has been under-appreciated and not given its prosper respect for the last decade," Michael Camargo—a.k.a. Upscale Vandal—told Complex in a statement on Monday. "I'm changing that this next decade one way or another. Even if it's one campaign at a time."
Upscale Vandal and Puma previously linked back in May for a visual take on the brand's Motorsport collection. At the time, Upscale Vandal said he wanted to capture the feeling of riding around in a new car and clothes for the first time.
"There's nothing more aspirational than driving around your city in a luxury car and a new outfit," he said. "Everyone can relate to that feeling and that's what I wanted to express."
