The rise of street style photography is seen as a good thing and a bad thing. In one part it brings unnecessary crowds of people—not invited to shows—to stand outside thirsting to get their picture taken. While street style photographers have their favorite “peacockers”, not that many can do it. In another, it’s a good way for young fashion designers to get their clothes get some exposure, and to see how normal folks wear their clothes. GARAGE Magazine explores these two elements in this short documentary titled “Take My Picture.” If there’s one take away; don’t try too hard, you’re just making yourself look stupid.
