As usual, many of the Photoshopped creations that circulated Tumblr last month both glorify and make fun of rappers like Kanye West and Drake. Kadir Nelson's now iconic painting of the "All Me" rapper spawned a number of parodies when the album first dropped, and now it's re-emerged on the famous Windows XP background of a green lawn and blue sky. Likewise, Photoshop fans poked fun at Kanye with footage from the self-assured rapper's "Bound 2" music video.
With so many rappers and music artists name-dropping famous painters and shifting the world's focus on art these days, Tumblr has also seen a renewed interest in historical painters like Norman Rockwell and Raphael (with Photoshop modifications, of course).
