After completing a mural on the rag & bone store on Elizabeth Street and opening an ongoing "Fruit of Doom" exhibition at Jonathan Levine Gallery in New York, French street artist Ludo recently returned to Paris and struck the European city with a bit of green.
The latest piece, entitled Natural Born Killers consists of a what looks like an upside down military helmet and a human brain rendered in gray scale. Jutting from the brain are multiple tank guns, surrounded by an emission of vibrant green. The mural seems to suggest that human beings have a natural inclination for violence and war. Though it's with loaded meanings, Ludo manages to convey his sentiments with images familiar to viewers.
