A few weeks back, The Business of Fashion opened up a free online education platform that allows anyone to learn about the basics of the industry. With the barriers to entry in the fashion business, it's a great opportunity for anyone looking to learn. Similarly, now there's Mastered, a new program that brings in some of the industry's brightest names to teach in a variety of areas.

Fashionista got some information about Mastered that launched early last year and has brought in some big names as instructors. Among those who have courses open for application: Nick Knight of SHOWstudio, Tim Blanks and Virgil Abloh, all of which have a different focus and curriculum. Knight's course starts this month and focuses on photography, Blanks will look to build up and polish young fashion writers when his program starts in February 2016 and Abloh's course will be similar to an incubator for streetwear brands that have already launched. The outlines for the courses are pretty well fleshed out, so it's not like you're paying to attend a one-time speaker series or something.

Unfortunately Mastered's courses aren't free, costing between $1,600 and $2. There are also roughly 800 available spots in each course, allowing for a ton of students around the world to enroll. Take a look for youself and maybe learn yourself something for once.
