Having first launched their collaborative collection in 2017 with the aim to revolutionise contemporary fashion, UNIQLO and JW ANDERSON continue their long-standing partnership by setting sail for Spring/Summer 2022.

For the latest instalment, the duo look to the rich heritage of Britain’s sailing and seaside culture to create this season’s concept of being “at home with the sea.”

This theme is reflected through a selection of shirts, caps, and socks with embroidered sailboats in playful hues. Colour blocking and borders add a touch of contrast, while functional elements—including mesh fabrics and water repellent materials—are also added to the mix. Elsewhere, signature JW Anderson touches such as patchwork and asymmetry appear throughout the collection, offering both comfort and an elevated appeal.

Ahead of the collection launch, JW Anderson designer Jonathan Anderson commented: “The sea has been integral to my life ever since I was a child. It inspired this collection, and I hope people enjoy incorporating this maritime styling in their wardrobes.”

The full JW Anderson x UNIQLO SS22 collection is set to drop in-store and via the UNIQLO web store on March 18 – get a closer look at the shots below.uniqlo-jw-anderson-spring-summer-2022-5uniqlo-jw-anderson-spring-summer-2022-2uniqlo-jw-anderson-spring-summer-2022-4uniqlo-jw-anderson-spring-summer-2022-3
