The North Face has revealed its new Ripstop collection for the season, merging stories from the retro outdoor industry with iconic ‘90s silhouettes.

Honouring post-war innovators who repurposed surplus materials for functional gear, the layered capsule combines military-inspired aesthetics with textured ripstop fabric, elevating functionality through creative repurposing. An incredible illustration of how exploration breathes art, the use of ripstop has long been used as for unconventional problem solving and is now a core part of The North Faces’ fashion journey.

The collection is made up of singnature staples in classic colourways, ranging from outerwear and technical pants, to tees and accessories. Some of the highlights include the 92 Nuptse puffer, which has since become a timeless status in fashion culture, and the Denali Pants. Designed to deliver retro-inspired everyday comfort, the bottoms are pill-resistant, breathable, easy to care for, and warm without the weight.

You can cop the ‘Ripstop’ collection from January 16 at thenorthface.co.uk and in select The North Face stores.
