Building on the duo’s ongoing partnership, Stüssy and Our Legacy now unites with Tremaine Emory’s Denim Tears for a new three-way collaboration.
Honing in on each of the label’s hometowns and a shared penchant for streetwear, the capsule collection draws on a shared ethos of all three brands to push the boundaries and parameters of style. For the collection, Emory, known for his ability to paradoxically interrupt the course of contemporary fashion, looked to the notion of “Afro-Americana” and linked with those who would drive the idea of counter-culture.
Highlighted by individual branding, including Stüssy’s signature font and Surfman patches, items include two denim Trucker Jackets and a Denim Tears 501’s in black and white, each of which is dressed with various motifs, inspired by its hometown and talisman crests.
Launching on September 9, the Denim Tears x Stüssy x Our Legacy pieces will be available globally at select stores, select Dover Street Market locations and online at Our Legacy, Denim Tears and Stüssy.
